LaVere C. Feirn, 99, a former Janesville resident died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Creek Side Manor Assisted Living in Oak Creek, WI. She was born in Delmar, Iowa on October 4, 1913, the daughter of Irwin and Florence (Butz) Nabb. She married Fred J. Elmer on June 10, 1930 in Rockford, IL. He died in February of 1954. She married Vincent Hayes on September 30, 1954. He died August 17, 1967. She married Wallace Feirn on May 25, 1968 who died October 11, 1989. LaVere was employed as a buyer by Sears for 25 years. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and enjoyed square dancing.
Survivors include a step-son, Robert Feirn of Arizona, nieces and nephews. In addition to her three husbands and her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Irwin Elmer who died in an automobile accident in 1950.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville with Pastor Paul Speerbrecker officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to Seasons Hospice , West Allis, WI.
